The Lumbee Ambassadors participated in NATIONAL NIGHT OUT at the new Pembroke Park on August 5, 2008. The event was sponsored by the Lumbee Tribe and Lumbee Boys & Girls Clubs. National Night Out is designed to heighten crime and drug prevention awareness. As well as, generate support for, and participation in, local anti-crime programs.
